Help with Inspire HR and Clip Question

Hi there! Thrilled to see the return of the clip! I've been avoiding these because my One was my favorite.  I realize the Inspire HR "HR" features wouldn't work if it's on the clip, and I'm absolutely fine with that, just trying to figure out if the unit itself will fit in the clip.  In other words, can the Inspire HR fit in the waist/bra clip and just not track your heartrate info or does it not fit at all.  Trying to decide which to purchase and quite frankly, it's all about what's going to fit in the clip!  I am happy to see the steel wristband, that too was another reason I've been avoiding these, I hate the feel of the bands on my wrist.  Thanks in advance for any help!

I don't have the clip, but I have read that it does not fit snugly so would always be in danger of falling out.

If the clip is a must, you're better off with the non-HR Inspire.

I expect others who have dealt with this will also chime in here, perhaps with better information.

I have the exact same question.  I am looking to buy a FitBit as a gift and the recipient loves my One with the Clip.  Will the Inspire HR fit in the Inspire HR clip even if some of the advanced features aren't active when in the Clip?

Here is another thread on this topic.  The gist is that only the Inspire is supported with a clip, right now, but it sounds like the HR will fit in the same clip, albeit with loss of the HR functionality (and support from Fitbit).  If you look on Amazon, you will also see at least one 3rd party clip that says it will fit Inspire HR.

Also note the Inspire has a setting for whether in clip mode or not.  That setting is not available on the HR.  I don't know how that setting affects the algorithms.

That's key! Thanks so much! I dont mind paying extra for the heartrate functions, but it's more important to me to be able to use the clip as well as the band.  Decision made! Thanks for all the help!!

Did you end up going with the HR and using it in the clip? I'm considering doing the same, but I'm curious about the accuracy since it won't have an "on clip" setting. I found another thread with people discussing this, and it seemed like some thought it was reasonably accurate but a few thought it was not. Would love to hear any more opinions of those who've tried it.
