How do I find a lost Inpire HR that is still syncing?

I appear to have lost my Fitbit Inspire HR. It is still syncing to the app but obviously not recording any data. Does the fact it’s syncing mean it’s nearby?

If it is syncing, it is within bluetooth range.

See What should I do if I lose my Fitbit device? 

But you have a much better chance of finding it before battery goes dead, losing bluetooth.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Thanks for confirming what I thought, will have a thorough search now. At least I now know I didn't leave it at Melbourne airport.
