On my inspire 2 if I swipe I can see a man with hands in the air surrounded by a circle of dots. If I see this man does this mean I have completed 250+ steps in the current hour? Sometimes I don't see him just a number like eg 157 out of 250. Thank you.

Welcome to the forums @Lallyfran.
Thank you for sharing the inquiry regarding your hourly activity.
I think that you are referring to a "reminder to move". It is a notification that cues you to walk at least 250 steps per hour to help you meet your hourly activity goal. If you haven’t walked 250 steps, the reminder appears on your device at 10 minutes before the hour (for example, at 10:50 a.m.) and causes your device to vibrate.
In order to see more information, please see: What are the reminders I see on my Fitbit device?.

Thank you for your reply. So if the circle appears and says for example 3 out of 14 hours does that mean the current hour has 250 steps done? Incidentally my Fitbit does not vibrate?

@Lallyfran If you see a screen like the moderator's screenshot, then you haven't completed the hour. If you see the circle of dots that you described, then you completed the current hour.
I have a lot of experience with different Fitbit models. I thought the Inspire 2 has a very weak vibration motor. I constantly missed my hourly reminder notifications. Also, make sure you aren't in sleep mode or Do Not Disturb. All vibration reminders are disabled when you are in Sleep mode or DND.
