How often does Inspire HR sync with phone?

I have the Fitbit phone app set for "all day sync" and "Always Connected". The last few days, I noticed the sync was done when my Inpireis near by phone at night but no sync from that point until I opened the app and tap the Inipre icon on the top of the app home page. For example, my inspire and by phone were next to each other from about 7 AM this morning but no auto sync took place. Because there is no data showen when I opened the app around 11 AM, I tapped the Inspire icon and a sync is initiated. How often does sync supposed to happen and when?

Hello @sn2019, it's good to see you around in the Community forums. 

Thank you for your questions regarding the All Day Syn/Always Connected options. There is no specific period of time between syncs, the tracker will transfer data to the app periodically throughout the day, if there's new data that has been recorded by the device; this may explain why it's not syncing during the night. 

All-Day sync has to do with syncing the data in your tracker to the fitbit.com servers. "Periodically"  throughout the day the fitbit app will get data from your tracker and then connect to the fitbit.com servers to pass that data on to the server and also pull down any changes you have made (different clock display, new silent alarms, etc.) and send them to your fitbit tracker. Without All Day Sync selected, the app will attempt to do the sync whenever you start the app up or whenever you 'force' it to try and sync by clicking on that selection in the app, as you mentioned.
