THANK YOU SO MUCH! This was the only post that worked for me and resolved my frustration! I can now use the exercise tracker again!!

No this doesn’t help I tried it 15 times and it keeps taking me to the quick settings screen after I don’t know how many times it finally paused but now it won’t finish

I chatted with Support and they taught me to QUICKLY press both side buttons simultaneously THREE TIMES - and I got to the "Finished" screen.

It is not so much a press of the buttons together but a quick squeeze release. It is defined as a “tap” in help . I recommend a quick squeeze like picking off lint or sticker. Mine won’t recognize anything unless both buttons at the same time followed by immediate release.

It took 3 times to press both at once perhaps. One time can do it, but the plan for three is a good way to get the one synchronized “tap”
