This tracker keeps lighting up at night when i move my wrist or when sitting with my meditation group.. I am looking for the settings to turn off Quick View.
I looked in my settings on the tracker but don't see a button. Does anyone know how I can turn this off?
If I can't stop this clock from activating will have to return it to Amazon and get my money back..
Thanks, Karl

If you press and hold the button on the tracker it brings up the Quick Settings screen. From there you can disable the screen wake.

I am Sorry -- I did mark this as solved when I was able to turn off the "screen wake" when flicking my wrist by holding the button --- BUT later on it was still lighting up at night and apparently there is no way to "UNSOLVE." I did return my tracker and left a review about the issue on Amazon. I did read about some hacks where people were covering their trackers with some sort of covering or band but that seems to be a lot of work. The Inspire HR has good features but the light was just too bright for me at night when I would move my wrist or it would touch the sheets. All the best, Karl

I thought turning off quick view would work - - but not really apparently it is a design defect as the touch screen is very sensitive and will display at slightest touch and is also very bright so people can read outdoors but at night if you sleep a touch will set off a bright display in your eyes

Didn't work for me. Will this be corrected with a new update?

I am out here with the same issue.
There is no Quick View setting for my Inspire HR and disabling Screen Wake via the device menu doesn't work!
Clarifications: Disabling the Screen Wake works during the day and any time I am not sleeping. But, somehow, at night when I am trying to sleep, every little motion turns on the bright white screen. That's exactly what you don't want to have happen when you have sleep issues.
When will this be resolved? If not soon, it is going back just like all the others.
Thanks!

And how is this marked SOLVED? There are still a half dozen people here with the same issue and your proposed solution doesn't work. Huh?!?!?

@karlinaustin to "unsolve" you go to the post you previously marked, click the "..." and choose "not the solution". I have done this for you.
The original question was asking how to disable quick view. The answer I gave did answer that question but it seems that the issue is with the oversensitive screen during nighttime wear. I agree this is not solved but that is really a different question.

o.k. dumb day Inspire HR. where is the quick setting? It was coming on when I turned my wrist, but now I have to tap my screen, or push the button to get the clock, and I don't know how it happened. The only setting I have changed was the all day sync, and I can't find the quick setting!

Thanks...I finally had figured it out, totally by accident, but I have yet to figure out how I disabled it to start with.

What fit bit do you have? I have the Inspire HR. If you hold the button, you will see your battery info, with an icon under it, that looks like a light bulb. If it has a line through it, the "wake" setting is off. Tap on the light bulb and the line should go away. Some of the other devices have the setting in the full app (on the computer) in your account, but can't be done in the mobile app or the device
