I just got my fitbit inspire HR today, and got it all set up.
One thing I noticed is that the heart rate is very inaccurate. And yes, I did read the help page on getting an accurate heart rate, and I have my fitbit 1 finger away from my wrist bone.
My fitbit is snug to the point where the optical sensors are making full contact with my skin, but not too tight to the point where it restricts bloodflow.
When I’m resting, my actual heart rate is around 45-50, however on the fit bit, it would show 55-60 and sometimes even fluctuates over 70. Is it normal for a heart rate tracker to not track your actual heart rate?

Nice to see that you're digging into the Forums @Hyudryu, let me give you a warm welcome to our Community.
Thanks for letting me know that your heart rate information in your Inspire HR is not quite accurate. You did a great job checking that information on the help articles. I would like to mention that Heart rate reading varies depending on several factors like movement, temperature, humidity, stress level, physical body position, caffeine intake, and medication. If you haven't already done so, please review our information and tips for heart rate accuracy. Fitbit devices are not a medical device, but you can rely on the information for your daily workouts.
What device are you using to compare your HR data?
You can also perform a hard restart on you Inspire HR, in case that is a hardware issue. If you're taking or have changed your medication recently, you HR reading will change too.
I'll be around in case that you have questions about it.

My partner’s HR is highly inaccurate. I have placed her Inspire on my wrist and mine, next to each other, and mine seems ok (compared with Withings scale) whilst hers is completely off. Firmware is the latest. Should we send it back ?

Hey @JSSZ welcome to the Community Forums! Thanks for letting me know that your partner is having issues with the Inspire HR.
In this case, it's best to let your partner know the information suggested above. Please note that if you wear his/her Fitbit Inspire HR, it won't give you the same heart rate readings. It takes your personal information and your heart-rate data from when you’re both awake and asleep to estimate your resting heart rate.
It's important to check this information too: How do I improve the accuracy of my heart-rate reading on my Fitbit device?
If your partner keeps having issues with his/her Fitbit, please let her/him know we're here to help.
Keep me poste on the resolution.

Hi Yojana,
I find your answer quite unhelpful. Yes, we have read the above. Yes, we have performed a hard rest and yes, the firmware is the latest. We will send it back unless you have more elaborate (and timely) suggestions.
