Inaccurate steps recorded

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has has issues with their strides? Been for a walk and my old device was over 200 steps less than fitbit inspire HR that I've just bought, I was wearing both. Is there anything I can do?

I've moved your post to this new thread to keep our forums organized, and so you can receive more related responses about this situation. As you may know, your device will record steps based on your personal information, stride length and how you're wearing it on your wrist. If you've not done so, please check the following:

 

  1. Verify that your personal information and stride length are still correct in the Fitbit app.
  2. Open the Fitbit app, tap the Account icon > Inspire HR and make sure the wrist setting is correct.
  3. Wear your device a finger's width above your wrist bone.
  4. Restart your Inspire HR to refresh its settings.
