When a map does show on a saved exercise activity (it doesn't always), it's often shown incomplete on my Fitbit app, ie, I see a map of the last portion of my activity, and a couple of straight red lines instead of the actual route (and only a small part of that route).
The phone's GPS is on, the exercise activity runs properly, the device isn't paused during the activity, and the activity is saved correctly. All the data from the activity shows up on both the app and the Dashboard here.
Anyone know what's up? What am I missing here?
Fitbit is up-to-date, by the way, and I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S10e phone.
Thanks!

Hi,
Just thought I'd let you know that the same thing is happening with iphones so please ensure the fix works for them too. It's only been a problem for me in the last few weeks.
cheers

Hi. I'm having a similar issue on an iPhone and Inspire HR (April 2020). I've also had problems where spot checking during the exercise the phone will occasionally say there is no device found.

Having similar problems with Versa and iPhone 11 especially when cycling.
When hiking the watch easily goes into Pause mode by accidentally touching with backpack or similar!
Also overview map on exercise map shows details of a completely different day. Only when I click and enlarge the map does it show the actual exercise of the particular day¨.
After updating firmware it often complains that update did not work or Bluetooth connection is not right. After resetting iPhone and Versa all is fine. Not really an elegant solution.

This has been happening to me with my Charge3 in iphone synched to it too. Seems to be happening more and more. Never used to happen in past years, and I've been wearing fitbits for years now.

So its April 15 2021 now, and there still isn't a fix? I'm using the inspire HR and the GPS takes nearly 2 minutes to connect before I can start exercising THEN it drops out early on... and all my exercises are incomplete. Whats the status on the fix? or is this a hint to purchase and renew my buying cycle?

What's the status on the fix? or is this a hint to purchase and renew my buying cycle and buy the Inspire 2? Is this a case of planned obsolescence, with a 1.5-2 year product life span? This is very disappointing.
