Inspire 2 battery is draining quickly

Fitbit inspire 2 battery used to last me 8-10 days from the first date I got it and now since last 10/28/2022 its been less than 8 hours holding a charge. I always charge my fitbit when it says its battery is low, when I take it off I let it have 2 hrs charge. I chatted with costumer services I followed all the steps. Right now it charged few minutes ago %100 already is 92%. It not make sense that the life for a fitbit is 18 months, same happened with my  husband's fitbit. I think every 2 years or less we are getting a new device, that's not ok.

The same thing has been happening to me since the end of September.  I used to get 10 - 14 days out of a charge, then it went to 5 days and now 36 hours after charging fully it has 60% left....  Had problems with my previous Fitbit not holding charge too.....  What can I do?

The same thing *just* started happening to me. The display’s brightness also dimmed. It looks like it’s on sleep mode even when it’s off. It’s incredibly frustrating given this $100 device is only 13 months old! Telling me to reach out to customer service so I can try the same steps all over again is incredibly unhelpful. FitBit need to fix this problem.

It’s weird. Mine did this and needed regular recharging for 2-3 weeks and
has now started holding charge again for a couple of weeks…. Second time
it’s been through this.

Odd. Mind you it no longer alerts me to calls or messages…. So isn’t
working 100%.

It will not be replaced by a Fitbit when it does give up.

Excuse me, this post was BEFORE I talked to to Costumer Service. I follow all the steps it did not work, they offered me a discount for a new device that I couldn't use on the one that I wanted of course, I got a new device on Black Friday. I know after a year it will shut down. Like every year!
