My fitbit often auto-records activities as sport. This is good, as I do netball and I’m quite happy with that being logged as sport.
My issue is that sport is not one of the options available in the list of exercise types when adding an exercise shortcut. It has niche things like badminton and golf, but no generic sport option.
My question is why?? The fitbit is obviously programmed in some way to register sport so it seems ridiculous that I can’t start recording an activity as sport, I have to just hope it auto-records.
If there’s a way to add sport to my exercise shortcuts I would love to know. But currently I am looking at the potential list of shortcuts and sport is simply not there..

Hi @maurakay! Welcome back to the forums!
Thanks for sharing the details about the listed exercises on your Inspire 2.
Each tracker or watch has its own list of exercises, so if the "sport" option doesn't appear in the list, it means it's not available for your tracker. One option is to manually save the exercises or continue recording them automatically.
If you want more information about the exercise app I suggest you take a look at this help article: How do I track my workouts with my Fitbit device and Google Pixel Watch
