Hi! I received my Insipire 2 yesterday but I can’t get the HR to work... is there something I have to do? Never seeing the green light  😖

Same!!!!!!! I finally figured it out. I was soooo confused at first. Thank you!

Okay figured it out!

1. Press & hold sides

2. You should then see “do not disturb”, “sleep”, “water lock”, “screen wake”, “on clip”

3. Tap on clip and change to “on wrist”

4. Heart monitor should then work!!!!

Also, I am obsessed with this Fitbit

This fixed mine. Crazy to think you have to tell it that it is on your wrist and not on the clip. Why on earth would you have to tell it that?

I have the same problem. New device, just set it up today...the heart never flashed, never worked. In settings, there's only a "Heart Rate Notification" which is ON. There's no other "heart rate" setting. Did you get yours fixed?

On my settings menu, between GPS and Do Not Disturb, I don't have the "Heart rate"! That's why i can't turn it on i guess!! So frustrating!

"On the settings menu on your Inspire 2 you should see:

Dim screen (options are on or off)

Phone GPS (on / off)

Heart Rate (on / off)

Do not disturb (with sub menu)

Sleep mode (with sub menu)

Heart zones notifications (on off)

Double tap (on / off)

Clear user data

Reboot device

Device info"

I am having the same issue as many others. My heart rate monitor stopped working as well as no led. I've scrolled through the settings, but there is no option to turn Heart Rate on or off. Any more tips?

Go in settings on device,  delete your data.

Go on the phone App. And re add it as new ..

Tried everything is the only thing that works..

Hold buttons for several seconds. Find the settings symbol. Click on it and find heart  on wrist or on clip. Click on it to change it over.If you go into the help on your cell, type the problem. Select the best answer and it might explain it better.Sent from my Galaxy Tab® E

I made a video that shows you which two settings to check if heart rate isn't working.

You can watch it here: https://youtu.be/Frt6-7rt42M

Is the heart rate sensor / monitor not working on your Fitbit Inspire 2? If so, you might need to check these two settings. Didn't work? Try this video next: https://youtu.be/RPFct7kMFcw #WearableWhisperer #FitbitInspire2

Hold both sides of the Inspire and the quick settings will come up. Scroll all the way to the bottom and make sure the setting says on-wrist and not on clip. If it says on clip, tap the screen to on wrist and the green lights should come back.

Hold both sides of the device until DND shows on the screen and then scroll to the very bottom. Make sure it says on-wrist.

Feeling the same, just 10days in and no HR, I only decided to give FitBit another chance after the band on my Samsung broke:/  Thinking about bringing my Samsung back to life and getting another band, as it did not skip a beat on tracking heartbeat in over two years and is way more intuitive with regard to tracking activity, sleep, etc. with a simple touch screen to quickly select face/clock update w/out having to download anything vs. this inspire 2 with no options to even gain a color face:/  Anywho just another 2 cent vent before I return this fitbit if issues persist over the weekend...

Restarted and still no BPM beyond my resting heartbeat and have only had this fitbit for 11 days:/
