My Inspire 2 is not charging. Tried different USB ports and also mains power with no luck. I have also cleaned the contacts on the back of the watch and on the charger and also rebooted the device. I don't know if turning the device completely off and on again would help but I don't know how to do this. How do I know if the device is faulty or if the charger is faulty?

I have the same problem after using it for 9 months and nothing works. I cannot recommend Fitbit.

Thanks for your response. I have made sure that I've followed all the recommendations provided on the link to the article on 'why is my battery not charging'. The screen is not blank, it's flashing 2% battery. Nothing I do gets the battery to start charging.

I’m having a similar problem. My device has been on charge on and off all day. Cleaned contacts, won’t even switch on Not responding in any way at all and device is just feeling warm to touch. Had Fitbit around 6 months and after having no problems with my Fitbit 1 the inspire 2 has not been my favourite tracker!

I'm having the same problem. I plugged my Fitbit in to charge at 27% at 7:00 at 10:00 it was at 24% I got the Inspire 2 when it was first released I'm not sure I've had it a year. I rely on my Fitbit. Does Inspire 2 have a warranty?

Make sure to hold down the sides of the fit bit, go to the settings where you can either have it on your wrist or on the clip. Make sure it’s on the clip. Instantly worked for me once I did this.
Hold down the sides and go to the settings where you can have it on the clip or on your wrist. Make sure it’s on the clip. Worked instantly once I did this.
Hold down the sides, scroll all the way to the bottom to where you can either have it on the wrist or on clip. Make sure it’s on the clip. Instantly worked for me when I did this. How you can tell is the green light won’t be on. Then that means it’ll charge.
Did you have the fit bit set to being on the wrist? With a green flashing light? Turn it off. Hold down the sides and scroll down to where it shows either on wrist or clip. Make sure it’s set to being on the clip. Now it will charge. If it’s turned off already this may not work. If you are getting email updates and text updates about your fit bit running low on battery I’d pay attention to that. What you might be able to do is go on your phone and see if you can do it manually that way. Set it to being on a clip so it can charge.
Settings need to be on “clip” or it won’t charge. Tell your customers that.
Hold down sides where it goes to quick settings, scroll down to screen wake, make sure it’s on clip. Then it’ll charge. The device is not broken.
Make sure the quick settings is set to “ON CLIP”. It shows the actual charger. If the green light is on then it’s set to wrist. Hold down sides, scroll down to the bottom and make sure it says clip.
