Scroll up until you see the setting icon and from there to display and you will find the brightness levels. But I think that you have to enable pairing to get to the setting icon.

Thank you! The question I have now is how did I end up turning ON the screen dim without knowing the setting existed? (I know you can't answer that, but really?! Really Fitbit!?)
