Inspire 2 screen too dim

I got my parents the Inspire 2 - but one of the devices has such low brightness, it is impossible to read even indoors. Dim Screen and Sleep Mode are both turned off. How do we fix this?

Hi there, @sapsonic. It's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community Forums. 

As a first approach, I'd recommend the following steps:

  1. From the Today tab in the Fitbit app, tap the devices icon at the top-left corner.
  2. Tap the Fitbit device icon.
  3. Near the bottom of the page, tap Sync Now.

If the above doesn't work, please restart the Fitbit device as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? Note: Restarting the device doesn’t delete any data. If the restart doesn't work try to change the clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change the clock face back to the original clock face.
