I've had my fitbit inspire 2 for a few months and am getting used to it after having 2 or 3 Alta HR's. But today the display went black and it was unresponsive. I plugged it in and it was at 65% battery power. I noticed I was short 2 miles and around 2k steps from my walk this am. Something might have been disabled but I can't get the menus to work, the side buttons won't vibrate or back me out of a menu and I can't restart since the side buttons are unresponsive and I can't get to the settings menu.

@Shanaxon Is it possible the Water Lock feature was accidentally enabled? That will lock up the screen and side buttons. The Inspire 2 manual says to double tap the screen, but I found I had to pretty firmly and forcefully double tap my Inspire 2 to unlock it.
If that doesn't appear to be the issue, I'd recommend reaching out to Customer Support for further assistance. Best of luck!

My problem at the moment is that I'm within a menu for the sleep schedule and since the side buttons don't work, I can't back out of it. There should be a way to reset it that isn't within the normal menu options... Maybe if I get support they can tell me how to reset when your side buttons are disabled. 8t shouldn't be so easy to enable and disable things. Frustrating! Than I you so much for your time!

The inspire has a touch screen this touch should be the same touch you would do when typing on your phones screen. Also any side movement when the finger is on the display will not be taken as a tap.

I'm not sure if you read my original but I've had this for a few months. I know how it should work. The sides were disabled or something. No way to reset or restart.

I'm having this same issue after an hour or so in the ocean. Do you happen to remember how they helped you fix yours??
