Inspire sometimes doesn’t track my swim and 30min walk. It will show in zone minutes as brisk walk but doesn’t count it in exercise.
Other occasions it doesn’t register swim even though it had previously.

Those are common when relying on auto-recognition of exercise. It is trying to figure out what you are doing based solely on the movement patterns of your wrist.
If you would use the Exercise App to record your workouts, you would get them recorded every time.
See How do I track my workouts with my Fitbit device?
It might show in Zone Minutes because that is activated just by heart rate increase.

Thanks for the suggestion but I'm finding the same issue with mine! I looked at the link you posted but Inspire 2 doesn't look the same, so I'm assuming the advice is not for Inspire 2.

@Densmum1 That link applies to Inspire 2 as well. Where the info is different for different trackers, click the blue check mark at start of line to see different sections for different models.
If that doesn't help you, explain exactly where it doesn't apply.

Thanks Johnny Row. I tried again with the link and it doesn't seem to be working at all!
