I tried to sync my inspire 2 today. It wouldn't sync and continued this trend. It wasn't showing up in bluetooth menu so I restarted my phone and my fitbit. It showed up but refused to connect. I saw somebody say to forget it on bluetooth then reconnect. So I did this and then it said it couldn't connect due to incorrect passcode/pin. It never prompted me for anything so I tried again, same thing happened. I saw somewhere that when it says that to just set it up again. So I started the setup process and I found that it erased my original setup and when I try to set it up it says it finds my device but then will not connect. Do I need to erase my data on my fitbit? What's going on? How can I set it up to use it again?

I am sure you have already figured this out, but it is as simple as going to setting in your Fitbit, clearing your data and resetting up your Fitbit as a replacement. This happened today to me. Hope this helps the next person who forgets their Fitbit in their Bluetooth. You will only lose the data in the app since the last sync also, in case you are worried about losing everything all together.
