I have had my Inspire HR for about 16 months and the battery life was great, lasting 4-5 days wth frequent exercise and activity. Then, two days ago, I went to check my stats and the screen started flashing and wouldn't stay on for an extended period of time. I charged it up a bit and went to sleep, and it lost 20% overnight. Then, the next day it died 3 times in one day after fully charging it and no excessive use or exercise tracking. Today, I charged it to 100%, and in the last hour, it has lost 20% already. I have seen in other posts that some people are also having low battery issues after a year or two of use. However, my concern is that this was so sudden and the battery life all at once failed instead of it graually getting worse.

Edit: I restarted it a few times and tried a factory reset, and nothing has worked so far.

I have the exact same issue - it was totally fine for the first year, and then suddenly had a ton of issues conveniently right after the warranty expired. I never charged it for extended periods of time and have my settings configured to preserve battery life, and it went from needing a charge every 4 days to dying from 100% within an hour. From similar posts, it seems like FitBit ruined the Inspire HR battery life with a recent update and is not helping to resolve it (but is encouraging people to purchase new devices). Let me know if you are able to fix it - I'm about ready to give up on FitBit and find a tracker that respects their customers and makes devices that are built to last.
