For the last 2 days my run in the exercise app is not correctly calculating my distance. I run 5km on the treadmill and my Fitbit run says I have only done 2km.
Please help.

Hi, @JoannieGreene , your Fitbit will not always accurately count your steps when you are on the treadmill, especially if you sometimes hold on to the sides of the treadmill. For best results it is important to make your treadmill walk as close to your natural walk as possible, ideally with your hands gently and naturally swinging by your side. If the Fitbit is not counting all your steps, it will definitely not be able to calculate your distance accurately.
As you know, when indoors, because GPS is not available, your Fitbit can only calculate distance based on number of steps times stride length. That will inevitably be less accurate than a GPS measurement.
Fitbit will have automatically estimated your stride length based on the details you entered when you set up your account - age, sex, height and weight. However, this estimate is only the stride length of the average person with your stats. Some people take much longer (or shorter) steps than the average, and this will affect the distance calculation. (Using GPS when outdoors will cause the Fitbit app to update and fine tune the automatic stride settings, so it would be helpful occasionally to use the connected GPS feature on your Inspire to fine tune this)
If using the connected GPS feature does not seem to improve your distance accuracy, you can make your distances more accurate by manually setting your stride length. The instructions for doing this are here .
I hope this helps. Welcome to the forums!

Thank you so much @Julia_G , this helped a lot. I found the problem was that my GPS was on and that is why it was not calculating my run properly on the treadmill.

This would be fixed if we could edit the distance for treadmill activities in the Fitbit app afterwards.
I have put an suggestion in the suggestion form witch you find in the menu on the left.
Give it a vote so they notice it.
