I have just replaced my Fitbit Alta with Inspire HR and could not find out how to set it up. I contacted Fitbit who tell me my mobile ( Motorola g 6 play) is not listed as compatible with my new fit bit and that they can help me set it up...but it may not work! This clearly puts me in a difficult position if I then try to get a refund on my fitbit( or replace my phone!) My fitbit ALTA -worked fine with my Android phone before I replaced it. Any advice please

Hi @Steph666 Unfortunately with unsupported phones some work and some dont. The alta is an older operating system than the modern trackers (Including the Inspire and Inspire HR). The older operating system is more forgiving of unsupported phones - it works with more unsupported phones than the newest trackers. It sounds as if this is what is happening with your Inspire HR and phone. All you can do is try it and see if it works or not. Here are a couple of Help Articles which may assist you.

MY problem is that if I try to set it up and it does not work I will not be able to return it as I bought it through Amazon. Thanks for your thoughts.

Thanks but these articles are about Fitbit Ace and I have Fitbit Inspire HR. Did you mean to send these or are their ones that relate to my fitbit?

Gave up and returned my new Android Phone. Got a full refund as I was able to demonstrate that fitbit did not work with it. Working fine now with my old Apple iPhone.
