Connecting to the app intermittent and sometime disconnects on run so does not show whole route. Anyone else have this problem? Is it due to poor mobile signal , if so would internal GPS be more reliable?
Moderator edit: updated subject for clarity

Maybe @SunsetRunner some like it, some don't. What phone are you asking about?
Does the Fitbit app have permission to run in the background?
Have you tried restarting the phone?

The high precision setting, at least on android, used GPS, WiFi, and cell towers to get the phones location.
GPS itself does not need a cell signal it needs a direct line of site to the satellite.
Satellites circle the earth once every 12 hours
