I have tried charging my Fitbit and have held the button to reset but my screen remains blank - I did get a smiley face when I tried to reset but then nothing else happened- only had 6 weeks and am kind of frustrated

Only, I live in Belgium and English is not my main language, Flemish (Dutch) is.....
Anyone who can explain me what to do in Flemish? Or in very easy, non-to-technical English???

Hello @KrisMertens, welcome here! If your Inspire HR's display is not working properly, I'd recommend restarting it by following these steps.
To prevent confusion, we ask that users keep shared links to the language of the forum in which they are participating, in this case, English.
We currently support French, Italian, Spanish, German, Korean, Chinese, Japanese and English and hope to support more locales in the future.
I'll be more than glad to help, so if you can post me back in English that would be great.

In the meantime, I noticed that I am not the only one who seems to have this problem ....

I just mentioned that I am Flemish, but ok.
The answer I got was in no way helpful ... it is not the problem to restart
by connecting to my laptop, but the fact that the display stays blank after
restarting. I got the buzzer, the smiley ... and then nothing after trying
to open the display.
Just the same as was mentioned in the post of the user I replied to....
Maybe you can look at it again ...???

I have read through board and done everything to get my HR screen to display! It’s fully charged and it is still syncing with my phone- but no display! Hard reset doesn’t work either! Same issues! I’ve only had it 5 weeks 😞

I have the same issue.
No display, but it's still syncing to my phone.
The display was working as recently 12:30 this afternoon. I noticed the display not working at 4:00 ish.
It's 97% charged and I've had it for less than 4 weeks.

I had same problem last night.

I too am more than disturbed by the rapidity of this fail...
BTW, it does tell the time... and it does sync with the computer... but that is really NOT enough...

I'm having the exact same issue! Display worked most of the day, but not now. Still buzzes and syncs with my phone, but no display. Ugh! I've only had it a couple months!

I am having the same issue. I went for a walk and went to look at my fitbit and the screen on it is not functioning, it is still vibrating and syncing to my phone, I am just not able to see anything on the display. What is the issue? I haven't even had this for a month!

I had the fitbit inspire and the screen stopped working randomly, I was still getting the notifications coming through as it vibrated when I had a notification on my phone, and pressing and holding the button that vibrates too and it shows as being connected on the app and syncs OK. But the screen stays off for a few hours then comes on and the time it stayed off for 2 days I contacted fitbit who did troubleshooting then exchanged it direct, a week after receiving that it started doing the same so I took it back to the original shop of purchase and we swapped it for a fitbit inspire hr where I had to purchase a new strap from amazon as I was allergic to the included strap, I've just made breakfast and looked at the time and the screen suddenly stopped working again. This is so frustrating and the 3rd fitbit inspire this is happening on within 6 months, what's happening?

My Samsong works ok .However the data on my inspire has not been showing for 3 days. It's not recoding any sleep data and no step data unless I specifically choose exercise?

Had the same thing happen as other posts on here just suddenly no display but could feel it vibrate. I did a soft restart and so far so good. Just worried because it's only a couple months old and I'm not sure I even I have Reciept. Purchased it from Kohls. We'll ll see how it goes hopefully it's a glitch and now keeps working

It can't be a hardware fault cos the screen will start working again randomly so it's some glitch in the firmware.. They have directly exchanged for me and it happened again so I got the inspire hr and this has also started doing the same thing.. The funny thing is the thing that makes the screen come back on is getting a LinkedIn notification. Doing resets and all that doesn't work for me. :bell:
