Inspire HR doubles stats on device but not when syncing to program

A few times and now two days in a row my Inspire HR will all of the sudden double steps, distance, calories, time of exercise etc on the device but when I plug it in to sync to my computer  it is recording the correct information.  Yesterday it reset itself after the sync. Today I cant get it to reset either by syncing or rebooting.
