Inspire HR is not tracking my data correctly

I'm still having problems with my Inspire HR syncing. It will sync but won't provide the correct info. My excercisr goal is set for 30minutes. I walked for 70 minutes today but it only registered 16 minutes. My mileage goal is set for 3 miles but the fitbit doesn't register complete until after 5+ miles. I had a case in March 2022 regarding this issue and supposedly my tracker was replaced. However, I'm still experiencing the same issues. Also, the display will flash on/off for no reason. This leads me to believe that my old tracker was either not replaced with a new tracker or the "new" tracker was a refurbished tracker and not really a new one. I've been dealing with this problem for far too Iong now. I need a viable resolution to this problem as soon as possible.

Hi there, @Terri5663. Thanks for stopping by in the Community Forums and sharing the details about the issue with your Inspire HR. I understand where your concern is coming from and how you must be feeling.

To better assist you, may I know how you're tracking your exercises? Do you use SmartTrack detection or you manually start your exercises?

Please know that most Fitbit devices automatically recognize and record high-movement activities through the SmartTrack feature. To start, the default duration settings of your Fitbit device is 15 minutes long. However, you can also choose which activities your device tracks automatically, or change the amount of time needed to record the activity. To do so, please follow the next steps:

  1. Tap the Today tab, then tap the Exercise tile.
  2. Tap the gear icon in the top right.
  3. Tap an exercise, and adjust the duration or turn off Auto-recognize.

You can learn more about the SmartTrack feature in this link How do I track my activity with my Fitbit device?

Keep in mind that you can also manually start and stop a workout. For more information, see How do I track my workouts with my Fitbit device?

Additionally, I would suggest restarting your Inspire HR as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? and try to change your clock face. Then, test again your Fitbit device to see if your data is now being tracked properly.

Hope this helps.
