Inspire HR not auto-tracking exercise

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Inspire HR has suddenly stopped auto-tracking walks and exercise. It’s recording steps and heart rate but not my walks and workouts like it’s always done in the past. Sunday is the last day it auto-tracked.

I’ve tried resetting the device itself, shutting down the app and restarting it. I’m aware I have to walk at least 10 minutes (my settings) for walks to be recorded. I’m also aware that I have to be moving my arms for exercise to be auto-tracked. I also know I can manually add my exercise (I’ve had Fitbits for years) and that’s what I’m doing. But it’s a pain to do and not why I have a Fitbit.

Mine is doing the exact same thing. The last time it auto tracked anything was Monday morning. I ran a 5k at the gym on tuesday not a thing and it has picked up on my exercises in the past. I restarted and repair-ed my device and it picked up on a walk i did with my co-worker yesterday but it did get all of it and this morning again nothing at all. It is really frustrating considering i never had a problem out of my alta until it just decided after three years it was done.

Is anybody reading to our posts or addressing the problem? Don’t see any responses to our posts. 😠

I don't expect you'll get one - I have been in prolonged email correspondence with Fitbit about exactly the same problem - my Inspire auto track worked for a few days after purchase, then stopped for a month, then started again randomly after countless restarts, resyncs etc, then stopped again on 8th Feb and won't go again ... if you email helpdesk you don't get help except all of the suggestions which are already available online repeated all over again a few at a time. If you are beyond 45 days of purchase you don't get to try a replacement - there seems to be a stance from Fitbit that this is not their problem and must be user error.

Very annoyed - all of that cash for what is now a glorified step counter.
