Month old Fitbit vanishing steps

Hello forum! My new(ish) Fitbit has had disappearing steps today, around lunchtime about 400 steps just vanished from the total on both the watch and the app on my phone, I have no idea why. It has synced several times and not updated. Even more weird, I’ve been getting notifications, as I earned three new badges today, yet the number of steps to get the badges isn’t showing on my step total - help!!! I’m a newbie at all this so have no clue why it would have happened! Thankyou in advance ☺️☺️☺️☺️

The first 4 hours of my day on Monday vanished. They were there when I synced yesterday, but gone today. 😭
