Inspire HR not counting steps

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Inspire HR is not accurately counting steps after wearing it daily for about two months. This seems to have started in the last few days out of the blue. I keep it charged, although do not charge it every day. I used to be able to watch the step count increase as I walk or run, but not now. And the total count seems low.

Hi @Jakeone  Try restarting your Inspire several times. Hopefully that will fix it, but please come back here if you continue to have problems.

I bought the Inspire HR a few months ago. Immediately the counting was very bad. Even after a night of sleep and not using the FitBit it counted 250 steps.... I brought it back. The software/hardware connection sucks.

Same here had problems since the day I got it. With the July 2019 firmware issue that left my new device unusable for hours. Now it's not logging steps correctly. I've intentionally walked 10 steps its counts 15. Standstill and move my non-dominate hand slightly then it'll count about 6 steps. Seriously? So far this device is terrible. I'm considering getting a return.

I have had my Inspire HR for about two months, and it has started to miss work out days. When I enter exercise manually, it messes up the step count for the day. I tried restarting but it did not update. Very frustrating...

I got an Inspire about a week and a half ago. I have not had a good sense of my steps before now, but now I'm not at all sure I'm getting things right. Last night, I was about 30 steps away from the 7000 I was aiming for. I walked around the house, did a few tasks that involved moving back and forth between rooms, etc. I was counting, and I had over 100 steps. The device only showed that I had taken 17 steps. Is everything I'm getting BS? Please don't tell me to reset it without telling me specifically how -- the link that theoretically tells you how merely tells you WHEN you might want to reset it (and says some stuff not to do). Utterly worthless. Help!
