I’ve been looking all over the forums for how to solve the issue with my Fitbit but they’re all the same answers or not relevant to the current app/firmware versions.
My Fitbit wasn’t syncing to my phone app properly (yes I’ve already restarted, reconnected via Bluetooth, reinstalled app, etc.) because for example it wasn’t showing how many hours I’d slept last night, which is weird because I wear mine 24/7 except for an hour every few days to recharge it. So I restarted but when I did, I lost about 300 calories from what I already had and it showed a steady, I assume, estimation of calories burned for the day. It’s odd it’s the same amount every 15 minutes since midnight. But the previous days’ numbers’ are pretty accurate from what I recall.
How do I restore the correct numbers?

@isyncnot It's great to see you in the Community!
Let me help you with your Inspire HR not syncing properly and the calories decreased also thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Not sure why this happened but you can try the following:
This will help refresh the link between your phone and your tracker. Monitor your tracker's behavior to see if this happens again (the calorie decrease).
Let me know how it goes.

Sorry for the late reply but how do I put a thumbs down and keep this from being the “best answer”. I’m having this issue again. Totally forgot I made a post about this on the forum. I was on chat support twice and got dropped twice. They gave me the same answers. No solutions. And I can’t even get back on the chat room request. I really shouldn’t bother if they’re still going to repeat the solutions.
today, I was tracking calories and satisfied I was at 1900+ almost to my 2k goal. But when I got home and checked the app it wasn’t matching what I thought. The calories were just showing BMR rates at 13 cal/15 min until 22:00. Makes no sense because I was out all day running errands and still 500 less than my day yesterday where I was literally stuck at home all day. Makes no sense. And it’s no help they won’t even admit it’s an app or firmware issue and it just HAS to be my phone that’s the problem. Useless support. Provide real solutions for once.
