Hello,
My Inspire HR will track a 15 minute walk as exercise but not a 45 minute spin class.
It shows my heart rate, calories and active minute but will not log it as exercise. Even though my heart rate was very high (179 at one point) it didn't acknowledge it to be exercise. Does it only track exercise if your wrists are moving?

@SunsetRunner To get the most from your Inspire HR, you need to use the Exercise app to log your spin class. This Help outlines the steps you need to take.
Your Inspire HR automatically recognizes outdoor bike, but not a stationary bike.

Mine does not track exercise either and I am having a hard time finding the answer on the internet to fix the issue.

I feel your pain. Mine used to track any exercise where my heart rate was up significantly as “aerobic” since there wasn’t a “row” or “stationary/spin bike” option. As of last Friday it stopped tracking that... only tracked my exercise when I activated the exercise on my watch - like “treadmill” or “run”. Didn’t get credit on the app tile for my entire Saturday workout. Had to enter everything manually.

I am having the same issue. I tried moving it to my ankle, but then the heart rate wasn't tracking properly. I did a one hour spin class and kept it on my wrist. It captured Active minutes but nothing as exercise - very frustrating! None of the responses from the 'experts' have helped.

Hi, I had the same problem, but it was only because I expected that my fitbit would track it automatically. It will if you add spinning to your exercise list in your app.
By default I had weightlifting, swimming, and other exercises I don't do, so I removed them, since there is only a max of 6 activities, and I added spinning, pilates, stairclimbing, walking.
The link below about 'How do I track my workouts with my Fitbit device?' helped a lot.

**it will track spinning if you select the exercise from your exercise menu in the inspire hr.
