Brand new today, I wore it for an hour: I've tried changing clock face, restart (did not respond), restarting my phone, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, taking the straps off.
The watch seems to be dead, the app says "device not found" and when asked to sync gives me a red exclamation mark.
Please help!

Could you please try setting up your device again. Please follow the instructions of help article: How do I set up my Fitbit device?
