Inspire HR steps reset randomly

My hubby was a little freaked out today that after 24k steps and some exercise that his Inspire HR just reset his steps back to zero.  I told him it was him ('cause when it comes to tech it is always him).

 

Mine just did the same after 2500 steps.  I am back up to just over 500 and I synced and saw the 500 in my dashboard.  I then decided to change my clockface and when it was done - I lost everything again.

 

I see that others are experiencing this random reset... but after changing my clockface I lose everything as well?

Let me help you with your Inspire HR resetting its steps. Did you log any activities on your account or do you have any third party apps linked to your Fitbit account? Please try restarting your tracker by following these instructions. After this monitor its behavior.
