The last two times I have gone running and started tracking the activity on my inspire HR, I have noticed halfway through my run that the device has unexpectedly stopped tracking the activity. It doesn’t present me with a summary of the activity, just returns to the clock face.

Let me help you with your tracker not completely recording your activities. Does any activity shows on your account (even a partially recorded run/walk)? Try restarting your tracker by following these instructions and see how it behaves. Also make sure that your tracker screen and/or button isn't in contact with something else as this could exit the activity mode.
