Inspire HR swim information inaccurate

I swim in 50 m pool. Set this value for my swim tracking. Swam 26 laps. The record shows 2600 m and 52 laps. Don't understand why these two values doubled.

Welcome to the Forums, @ekhongChew.

Inconsistencies in your swim data may be caused by any of the following:

  • You completed only a few laps
  • You stopped to rest multiple times or in the middle of the pool
  • You stopped to rest for longer than 60 seconds after completing a pool length
  • You changed your stroke type midway through a length
  • You swam with a kickboard or without using your arms
  • You swam less than the minimum duration needed for your swim to be automatically recognized

Let me know the outcome.

Hi,

1. I  completed 26 laps on a 50 m pool non stop in free style.

2. I  did not stop.

3. I  did not change my stroke

4. I did not use kick board.

5. I  took about 40 to 41 minutes to complete the 26 laps.

For many consecutive days, it recorded 2600m and 52 laps.

I had the same issue when I was using Fitbit Flex 2. It was never resolved. I kept getting answers that your people will look into it.

I thought Inspire  HR will be ok, but it is not. I have even erase all previous swim records with my previous Fitbit Flex 2 just in case it may influence the  present record. Of course it doesn't work.

FYI, when I set the pool length at 27m while swimming on the 50 m pool, I could get relatively close record.

All these are happening since 2018. It is never resolved even with your latest product.
