My steps are counting less than actuals.. I observed it while walking most of the times it doesn't count at all.. . Previously when it was working fine I could see the steps syncing with my walking.. now it doesn't change . And when is the steps showing on screen actually counted is not known .. it may suddenly count something as per its own whims and fancy .

Hi @ReshuJha, welcome to the Community Forums!
Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the details that were shared in your post. For tips about improving accuracy, please check this help article. Factors such as device placement, dominant or non-dominant hand, and stride length affect the number of steps recorded. If it still seems like your device is undercounting steps, try a step test:
1. Put your device on your wrist or put your clip-on device on your hip or torso.
2. Walk 100 steps, making sure to count a step each time one of your feet hits the ground.
3. Pause, then check your device to see your step count.
If your device counted more or less than 100 steps, restart the device and try the step test again.
I'll be here if further assistance is needed.

Same. I first noticed it yesterday. I tested it by getting up and walking 250 steps. Not added Also 1-7 daily steps under reported. Sometimes it tells me I nailed after 75 or even 35 steps. Nuts. The whole month of September I've been walking for a charity. Now I don't even know if the count has been correct.

I noticed about a week ago I walk around our small lake which use to give me over 6000 steps now I’m lucky to even get to 5000 steps and as this is my goal before breakfast I am now taking longer to get my goal of 5000 steps
