Inspire HR will not sync

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have been having issues since June where the steps are recorded on the device but it will not sync to the app.

I have restarted the fitbit (factory reset), uninstalled and reinstalled the app (android, version 10), turned Bluetooth on and off, tried it with and without the Fitbit on its charger... It always gets to the same point. It detects the Fitbit, I get the 4 digit code which I put in, and then it goes through the motions but never connects. This is extremely frustrating...

Can someone please tell me how to get this to work properly.

More often than not, sync issues occur when fitbit device is talking on Bluetooth to multiple receivers namely phone/s computers etc having your fitbit app and device synced currently/earlier. Try turning off Bluetooth on those devices and sync initiates correctly on current device. Have a great weekend.

Tried all the including syncing to another device and still not working. Everything it tells me plus other tips and tricks found amongst other threads and it STILL won't sync, in all for throwing in the towel and buying a cheap one off amazon

I noticed a few weeks ago that my Fitbit Inspire HR was only syncing when I actually opened the Fitbit App. I haven't changed any of my devices, settings or anything else in that period and it's only ever been paired to the one device so the only changes have been from official updates.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app which didn't do anything. I posted in the Community and the steer was "check your settings" but there's nothing there suggesting what the problem is. I've been hoping it would sort itself out but it hasn't.
I tried to get help via the Live Chat but it doesn't seem to want to work either, I just got a spinny wheel for ages. Would be good if the Support team could reach out.

I gave up on Fitbit due to the many sync issues I encountered. I purchased a Xiaomi Mi Band 5 off Amazon, and it syncs perfectly with no problems. It syncs quickly and shows the sync progress clearly. I would never recommend a FitBit due to the poor sync function.
