Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Vickyvdw.

Thanks for the details shared in your post and for already trying to resolve the issue. I understand how you are feeling and recommend confirming the complete troubleshooting instructions in Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?

Hope this helps!

Same here.  I have done all the things in the suggested troubleshooting article, multiple times.  I finally ended up trying to "delete the device from your account so you can go through set-up again" and now none of my Bluetooth devices will recognize my Inspire HR and keep asking me to make sure it's charging and turned on.  I've tried it with my iPhone7 (updated to the latest iOS), my new iPad (also updated to the latest iOS), and my old laptop with a dongle (which has Windows 10 and then I reread it won't work with that).  The laptop gave me the same screen as my iPhone.  All my devices ask me to be sure the Fitbit is on and then to retry.  I've seen MANY ppl have the same issue recently, and it's not just the Inspire.

It’s good to see you in the community, @ladyfromthewood.

Thank you for joining the thread and sharing that you're experiencing the same issue with your tracker. I understand how you are feeling and appreciate your troubleshooting efforts. I recommend trying the following:

1. Remove the Bluetooth connection between your phone/iPad and your Fitbit device: On your phone/iPad, tap Settings  > Bluetooth > the information icon next to the name of your Fitbit device > Forget This Device.

2. Select your iPhone or iPad to connect your tracker. Make sure other devices are not nearby or turn off Bluetooth on them as the tracker may try to connect to several devices and the Bluetooth connection can be interfered.

3. Restart the phone and restart your tracker.

4. Tap the Today tab, and tap your profile picture.

5. Tap Set Up a Device.

6. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.

Hope this gets you back on track.
