Inspire HR won't sync

Hi there.

My beloved fitbit won't sync. It has been uninstalled and reinstalled, it is currently just buffering. I have tried everything the troubleshooting guide suggests. I'm at a loss as to what to do. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi @SarahB23, welcome to our Fitbit Community. Regarding the syncing issue that your Inspire HR has experienced, I appreciate the time spent trying to get it resolved before contacting our forums.

In order to avoid providing the same information, let me know if you also tried the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. This article contains steps that you already tried but you can skip them and proceed with the rest.

Looking forward to your response.

I have tried those steps innumerable times. None work permanently.

I was having no difficulty until sometime in January (some are tagging an app update with causing the trouble). Here's what happens. Unlike other Bluetooth devices, my iPhone does not recognize and automatically connect with the [active] Inspire Bluetooth. I have to try multiple times to reconnect/pair EVERY time I try to sync the Inspire. And the pair messages are not even accurate. It continuously tell me I have to "forget the Inspire" to have it reconnect. What good is a device that you practically have to beg to connect?  If by luck and fairies, it does sync, it immediately loses the connection as soon as the screen shuts down. I no longer get ANY notifications, but for Active Phone calls, THAT I MAKE. And multiple times at that. I am no longer notified of weather alerts, or texts (native), as I was before.

Please figure out how this happened and fix it. I said in another message it was getting old. Well, I'm changing that.....it IS old and I'm starting to look for another device.
