open my xmas gift, added the device as I already use a FITBIT ONE, and did the set up. I walked a few steps around the house and it told me I had over 3000 steps. What gives? How did steps accumulate when I had just set it up? My hope is that it zeros out at midnight and tracks correctly tomorrow. Question has this happened to others? Why? did I do something during set up? Is there a problem because I have 2 devices?

@grander Did you wear the One earlier in the day to get the 3,000 steps? That is how having two devices attached to the account will work - if you wear one device and sync and then switch devices and sync, the new device will pick up at that point.
