Inspire blank screen

My inspire has a blank screen and I can't get it to wake up. I've charged it. It buzzes occasionally but that's it. Very frustrated.

I'm having the same issue

I intermittently have the same problem, then it suddenly works again. Frustrating.

Happy to know I'm not the only one! I haven't worn it in over a week because of it... as, like ya'll, it vibrates occasionally but the screen won't come on. I tried all the troubleshooting steps on my own prior to contacting them - which I did on Friday (through twitter). They had me troubleshoot the steps (again) and finally initiated it up to higher support people. I had to verify my name, e-mail address and where I got it first though. I've had mine since May/June (I believe).

Mine started doing the same thing a couple of hours ago.

Mine too this morning. Got it in August of this year.

I have been having the same issues off and on for about a month and a half. I have only had my device for approximately 6-8 months. This is very frustrating. The device that I have is actually a replacement, the one I originally had stopped working properly a week after purchasing it.

ValerieAnne, did they offer any solution to the problem with your device?

To all that are having this issue, best of luck in getting this resolved.

I have the same problem with my new device. Worked for almost three weeks; now just a blank screen with occasional vibrations.

I called Fitbit yesterday to report my screen not working and as he was getting ready to restart my device the screen display came on. He says he didn't do anything and it was just a fluke but I was told to plug your phone into the charger and then hold the button until a 🙂 comes on and that is a restart of your device

This is answered below but I had the same problem this week and all you need to do is hold the button for a second and it wakes up. Weird

Thank you. Mine is working again. I think I must have done that inadvertently in my frustration. Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone

It finally woke up for me too today but only after I held the button while it was charging for 15 seconds. Glad it’s resolved but still annoying glitch...

It had taken over 24 hours for it to get itself together this time. I had connected it to the charger, pressed to button for a few seconds, and then even longer. Took it off the charger held the button in for more than 20 seconds with no resolve. It kept vibrating with my normal notifications, so I just took it off..smh. it was fully charged, so ofcourse I was baffled why it was acting up. I plugged it in again for a few minutes, it didnt work, but after about 10 mins of being of the charger that time it started working.

My question is, if these devices are less than a year old, why are we having these kind of issues with them? I had a Fitbit Alta for about 5-6 years and even didnt charge it for almost a year and still didnt have this problem.

Thanks for listening.
