Inspire deleting steps daily

Since upgrading my Inspire a few days ago, it's started deleting steps around the same time every day. For example, today I went for a walk and reached 10k by about 2 p.m., I saw the little fireworks go off and everything. Then checked around 3 p.m., and I had 11k. At 4 p.m., I suddenly had 9.7k. I'd say about 2k had gone. I brought it back up to 10k and the fireworks went off for a second time. Is this happening to anyone else? It never did this before this week.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Zeska. Thanks for reporting the deleted steps on your Fitbit Inspire. 

I  haven't received reports with this situation. Is this still happening to your device? Have you already tried restarting your tracker?

Hi Andrea. Yes, this is still happening every day, and I've restarted my device many times.

 

Is there a way to restore factory settings? It would be a shame to lose a year's worth of data, but the device just isn't really doing the job like this!
