Out of the box setup didn't work with my brand new inspire HR on iPhone 6s and Sony Xperia Z5.
I charged the device to full. When I removed the plug the Inspire seemed to lose battery capacity very quick. Went from 100% to 45% within 15 minutes (trying several times to set up but failed each time).
So, here is what I did to resolve the issue after all suggestions from fitbin support didn't work (e.g. Resetting several times, renaming bluetooth name on mobile phone, etc.).
1. I charged the Inspire for 24h hours continously without touching it (still showed only 78% next day, and lost battery capacity again within minutes)
2. I created a new fitbin user account via iPhone
3. I deleted fitbin app from iPhone after creating user account
4. Re-installed fitbin app to iPhone and logged in with my new user account
5. Started manual setup via fitbin app - this time the app found the Inspire HR and showed the 4-digit code
6. Entered the code and continued initial setup
7. The app asked to update firmware - I did (At this time the Inspire showed 46% capacity, and the app said that I need to charge it to at least 50%. Did that and continued with firmware update)
8. Firmware update completed. Inspire HR seems to work fine.
Since none of the suggestions from fitbin worked I think most probably the new installation of the fitbin app on my mobile phone did the trick.
