Inspire not pairing with phone's bluetooth

My Fitbit stopped syncing the other day. I updated the app, and nothing changed. It said that it was looking for the device. I checked bluetooth, it was on. I unpaired the device. When I go to pair it again, it isn't connecting. I've tried to also restart the Fitbit and it still isn't connecting. I'm frustrated because I've had this for less than 3 months. I'm quickly losing faith in Fitbit as a company because this problem is just another in a long line that many people have been facing. I could deal with waiting for 5 minutes to sync. At least it was syncing!

I'm having the same problem. I think it is related to the recent iPhone update to OS 13.1.2. I was able to get my iPad to sync to my Inspire, after trying several times, but not having any luck with the iPhone.

I got my inspire he in May/June and it has done this a few times already. I thought I may just have had a faulty one but not so relieved to hear others have this problem also. I have an Android and have lost steps for challenges this way 😞

Just had the same thing happen.  Did you fix yours?  If so, how?

Bose speakers and wireless headset still pairing and connecting with phone.  Inspire shows up as
"visible" to phone but will not pair.  Was working fine until a couple of hours ago.  Only thing I did was put it on its charger (from 20% to 100%) then put it on and went for a walk.  Noticed after the walk that it was not syncing and then saw it was not pairing/connecting with the phone at all.

I had to unpair from my iPad and then I could pair it with my phone. Now, after a couple of iPhone updates I can pair with both again. If you are using Apple products, try updating your OS.

Mine doesn't even show up in my list of available devices. However, it has been syncing again. It might be paired and isn't using bluetooth? I don't know. Maybe fitbit is doing something shady with our information lol.

Well, the good news is that after more than a few hours of not connecting (Bluetooth) and not syncing but still working (could see the steps on the little screen) my Inspire HR connected and started syncing.  I am not exactly sure when it started working but when I looked at it the morning after it stopped connecting and syncing (I looked to check sleep tracking) it was working again.  I had not done anything since I had pretty much given up the day before.
But, with respect to your Fitbit syncing even though it is not showing up as connected with your phone or even showing up as available to connect... I have not had that happen with my Inspire HR but that was how my Alta HR was for a long time, like a months, and then it showed up on my phone again at some point.
I am hoping that with Google's recent purchase of Fitbit perhaps the software will end up being more reliable, even if they use the data to direct ads to us (which of course they will never, ever do).
Good luck,

My Inspire also stopped pairing with my Pixel 3. I've called support twice and spent considerable time going through all the steps of toggling bluetooth with a resting period, restarting device, deleting and reinstalling the app, syncing it with a different device and still it won't sync reliably.  I believe it syncs when I reboot the phone and continues to sync until I connect to a different bluetooth device (like when I get in my car) and never reconnects to the phone (short of a phone reboot) but I am still trying to spot the pattern. This is a very poor user experience.

I'm having the exact same issue, on and off. Its super annoying because the device will sync just fine (and very often as I have it on automatic sync) for a couple of days, and then suddenly will stop working. It's extremely frustrating especially cause I've only had it for 6 months. 😞

Same issue here. I even got a replacement and it still doesn't work. I have only owned this for 2 weeks. So frustrated! Is there a fix in sigh
