Inspire not recognising exercise

My inspire counts my steps fine but does not seem to track any of my exercise, I particularly want it to track my swimming and although I went for a swim this morning it states I have done no exercise!?

Hi @La---R  That is annoying. Were you swimming in a pool, doing laps and doing either, overarm (crawl), breast stroke, butterfly or back stroke? If you were and it didnt recognise swim then restart your Inspire a few times and see how it goes next swim.

Restart your tracker

Hi

Thanks for your response, I did restart it last night but again it has not recognised my exercise at the gym today. Do you know of any other solutions?

Thank you for your help!

What exercise did you do at the gym?

Cardio and weights

Auto recognition (which the Inspire uses) is not going to pick up weights (it has no idea you are working hard as it has no HR sensor) and will probably not pick up the cardio, depending on what you are doing. It may pick up treadmill for example, if you dont hold on, but wont pick up stationary bike or rowing, tho may recognise eliptical if it is one with moving arms. (It defitely should pick up swimming though.)
