I'm guessing, judging purely by your number of posts, that you've only just got your Inspire?  If so, it needs a good couple of hours to fully charge it (at least it did for me) and it's very easy to accidentally disconnect your Inspire from the cable... could that be happening with your Inspire too?

I use the USB cable to charge my Inspire and keep it on the table right next to my laptop and every 10-15 minutes or so I deliberately disconnect the cable from my Inspire then attach it again just to make sure that it's still charging... maybe you could try that?

Also, it takes about an hour or more from 50% charge for my Inspire to be fully charged... how long have you been leaving your Inspire charging for?  It's not the fastest charger in the world, you just have to be patient with it and not let it go past 50% charge if you want it to log your sleep.  If you look in the app, as soon as the battery icon goes past green into the dark grey, that's when I charge it up... so it's every 3-4 days for me, but might be less for you, depending on how much you use it (for example my target steps is 2,500 and I average about 3,000 a day and get 3-4 days of charge until it goes to grey for me, but if you are very active then it'll need to be charged more often).

Keep on using it and after a while you will find what works for you  😊
