Ever since the software update, I’ve had nothing but problems with my Inspire. Sleep tracker isn’t tracking properly, I don’t get my notifications of vibration when it’s 10 minutes before the hour & I don’t have my 250 steps in yet, it used to show a celebration screen & vibration when I hit 8,000 steps, not anymore, battery is not holding a charge as long as it first did. I’ve reset my device, let the battery deplete to 50% before charging, and no change. I spoke to a rep I think it was late July early August, whatever they did worked for a couple of weeks, but back to same old thing. I’m very upset over this cause I spent MY HARD EARNED MONEY ON THIS JUNK!!! I see others have posted about theses issues and no one has replied to help them and now FITBIT expects us to PAY for what exactly? You can’t or choose not to fix the existing issues, and you want us to pay for........NOTHING!!!!!!

Let me help you with your notifications and sleep detection and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. For the notifications make sure they are on by long pressing the button to check the configuration.
Your device will start recording sleep after it detects an hour of inactivity. If you have a light sleep or move too much then this may difficult your sleep detection. Additionally you can try wearing your device on your non dominant hand to decrease the amount of movement it is subjected to. Finally you can restart your device. You can also manually log your sleep time. You can read more about sleep detection here.
Finally check these suggestions to improve its battery life.

Are you serious? Suggesting that I MANUALLY set my Fitbit Inspire to track my sleep? What then would be the reason to have and use my Inspire Fitbit to track my sleep, because I can just write down on a piece of paper when I put my head on my pillow at nigh to go to sleep, and when I wake up write down that time! Your answer to my situation is ignorant. I spent my hard earned money on something that just doesn’t work as promised! I have many complaints about this device, I have sent messages, and called and the answers are always the same, fully charge, reset, let the battery die, recharge.....NOTHING WORKS!!! At this point I just want my money back, how do I go about getting my money back? Please let me know, you can reply directly to: kelm64@outlook.com
