Inspire stopped working after quick swim

Hey all, my girlfriend has a Fitbit Inspire (first one) and has never had any troubles with it. For some reason, today she went for a quick swim and her Fitbit just sort of crashed. I have continued to watch YouTube videos to try and find a solution, but the only ones I found were for just black screens but still turned on. Hers will not turn on at all. 

Any tips will be helpful
