Issues after software update.

So, this is my second inspire 2, after my first one died about a year ago after a year and a half, due to the battery no longer holding charge.

I am using the device in conjunction with an iPhone 13 Pro Max running iOS v.17.2.1

Ive had no issues with the device other than the common display issues, that changing the clock-face or a restart will normally fix.

After a firmware update recently, the screen went blank - no biggie, I changed the clock-face as normal and sorted, however - the touch screen no longer works, and after restarting the device to see if it would cure the issue, I have a blank display again.

Now on forcing a restart ill have the usual smiley face, and if i try to change the clock face, ill have a loading bar on the display while the new clockface is installed - but other than this - the display is blank - not a hardware issue.

It seems to be an ongoing issue with buggy firmware that was never sorted and was not a problem until I updated the firmware. I'd like to believe a fitness tracker should last more than a year.

Is there any advice that anyone can offer, because neither changing the clock face or restarting the device seems to be resolving the issue. Is there a way to roll back my firmware to a version that actually works?

I’m in the same boat. I wish there was an answer.

Mine won't even update the firmware. After reading about your's and everyone else's problems, maybe I should just leave it alone...

Do not get the update. I had to buy another watch. Never a fitbit again.
