Issues fitting replacement strap

I'm trying to fit a new strap to an Inspire HR. ( https://www.fitbit.com/global/us/products/accessories/inspire-classic?sku=169ABBKS )

 

I've replaced the strap a few times with 3rd party straps with no issues but thought I'd go for a genuine one this time to last longer.

 

The connector pin just won't connect to one side and keeps pushing itself out and not into the hole to secure. 

 

Any advice?

I've just answered my own question. I ordered a strap for an Inspire 2 by mistake. Feel free to ignore. 🤦

I think the Inspire HR and 2 have the same types of bands. The same thing happened to me and I came here to see if there was a way to fix it or if it was hopeless.
