Hi Julia, I'm not sure about OP but for the last few days when I sync to start my current day, all step data from the previous day has been setting to zero.

My experience is that usually these sorts of glitches - where steps are suddenly zero (or suddenly tens of thousands over) - are temporary and fix themselves. Logging out of the app and logging back in again, or, as you did, restarting your phone, usually fixes it quickly - or else it recovers spontaneously. That’s why I asked if scrolling back later you still had the problem.
Almost always this is a temporary and short-lived problem.
